May 2018 Alchemy of Fabrics Project Ideas...
“Folksy Fish” are just that! This week end I made three of these blocks and plan to make many more. They are whimsical and very fun to “dress up”. It was kind of like choosing outfits for paper dolls.
The pattern is actually a booklet and really well written with photo how to as well as illustrations. I have not done paper piecing in a while and I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was. With paper piecing you can get very small pieces for the details on the fish bodies.
I think I will make a table runner with mine. I did see a beautiful full size quilt at market.
