Holiday Helper Pot Holders

 

These quick and easy, Holiday Helper Pot Holders, were made by our very own Annette.

From the panel Joy & Wonder you can make 16 holders, four of each character.

The panel Repeat is 24" (x 45")

To Make 16 Pot holders you will need:

1 - Wonder and Joy Christmas Panel

1 1/4 yard of backing fabric

1 1/4 yard of Insul-Bright (by the Warm Company)

1 1/4 yard of fabric for binding

Cut each character from the panel, these are approx. 7.5" x 13.5", you should have 16 characters, four of each design.  The backing and insul-bright should be cut a bit larger than the character fabrics (8"' x 14").  Layer the character rectangle, the insul-bright and the backing fabrics, then quilt the layers together.  Trim.

Cut your binding fabric into 2.5" strips x 45" width. (One strip will bind one pot-holder.)  Fold in half and attach to pot holder, using your favorite method.   Annette's were done with the machine, fast and easy!
