Each month we like to hightlight the special items we have in the shop. We spotlight fabric, patterns, kits, yarn and fun home accessory. Here are our picks for July. We hope you enjoy the fun things we have to share.
July Favorites
Fabric: Fulham Road by Alexander Henry
Our featured fabric this month is Fulham Road by Alexander Henry. The collection is visually stimulating with all the curves and blooms, while rich in color with a timeless elegance .
We love how you can pull in bright solids, dots and stripes to coordinate. The collection has a wonderful paisley and simply elegant floral to pull it all together.
Kit & Pattern of the Month: Slide Show
This month's favorite pattern is "Slide Show". We couldn't resist using the Fulham Road print "Sloane" for its large scale graphic print. Then pulled in bright, rich solid coordinates.
If you like this quilt as much as we do...don't stand in line at the cutting table! Grab a kit and get sewing.
Notion of the Month: Custom 'Stitchin Post' Ruler
What could possibly be better than a little notion to take with you that will always remind you of us!
We custom ordered these 2.5" x 6.5" handy little rulers with our logo. Perfect sized to keep nearby.
Favorite Yarn: Hand Maiden yarns
Let me be the first to say...Hand Maiden yarns are gorgeous! They are exceptional fibers that feature Swiss Mountain Silk.
The perfect yarn for summertime is Flaxen (sport weight), an amazing blend of 65% silk and 35% linen. The linen is for crispness and the silk adds a wonderful drape and sheen to your project. Don't fret, it softens beautifully as you work with it.
We also carry Hand Maiden in Marrakesh (lace weight), Casbah (fingering weight) Lady Godiva and Great Big Sea (both worsted weight). Come check out the beautiful colorways we picked for the summer.
We have great new mugs and tiles by Kathy Deggendorfer. Her whimsical images of nature and camping are always fun to have around, give as a gift or keep as a souvenir. Kathy was our 2012 QS Poster artist and lives here in Sisters.

You have some amazing rulers....so nice to read about them some how they look different than standing in front of a wall and looking, LOL
