We had a fantastic Customer Appreciation Celebration last weekend. All our wonderfully, loyal customers were treated to a free gift, demos and discounts for 3 days.
But the one thing that people couldn't stop talking about ... were Jean's Chocolate Crunch Brownies!
She must have made 6 trays of these yummy chocolate, peanut butter, marshmallow, crispy treats. So, we decided to share...the recipe.
Jean's Chocolate Crunch Brownies
1 cup butter or margarine softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
6 tablespoons baking cocoa
1c. all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 jar (7 ounces marshmallow crème)
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups (s2 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
3 cups crisp rice cereal
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar; add eggs. Stir in cocoa, flour, vanilla, and salt. Spread in a greased 13 X 9" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until brownies test done. Cool. Spread marshmallow crème over cooled brownies. In a small sauce pan over medium heat melt chocolate chips and peanut butter. Remove from heat and stir in rice cereal. Spread over marshmallow layer. Chill before cutting into squares. Store in the refrigerator.
ENJOY!
Rita--You spread the rice crispy mix on the top of the brownies before you cut them out.

Do you spread the chocolate chip/peanut butter/crispie stuff on the marshmallow fluff or serve it separate??

Oops! Sorry about that--you need 1 cup of all purpose flour.

Sounds delicious but you are missing the amount of flour from the ingredients list.
