Mark on your calendars for November 13, 2010 and take a look at the fun you can have!
So this is 6:25am the line is forming as the anticipation mounts…
It takes only a matter of minutes and the shop is full, everyone is excited the noise level rises…
As you can see we all have an absolute blast, even the husbands are good sports--so loyal, shopping for his wife while she was out of town!
Victoria’s Secret meets the Stitchin’ Post!
The employees are all decked out in their PJ day finest:
That's Carolyn, second from the right--she had her little baby boy Kai just a week ago today!
(She's hiding her tummy under that flowery bathrobe!)
Some of us also enjoyed a yummy cup of cocoa or a latte from the Bright Spot--
Thanks Derry, for coming in early for us!
We seem to have been very color-coordinated that morning!
Some of us used the opportunity to show our team spirit--or some good-natured rivalry!
(We still have more of the OSU and UofO team fleece left!)
Mindi (on the left) made her own PJ pants from some fun printed flannel, and Jean's PJ pants (second from the left, next photo up) are made from the flannels that Valori designed.
Speaking of Valori's flannels...
Della Flannels & Della Micro Fleece have arrived!
You can check them out on our website--Here are the flannels:

and the fleece is here: http://stitchinpost.com/vals-dellamicrofleece.html
You can find "Simple Strips" the free baby quilt pattern that Valori designed for her Della Flannels on this page of the website: http://stitchinpost.com/freepatterns.html
Here's a photo of the Della baby quilt:
As you can see, it's not too involved--no little pieces or fancy cutting.
It's a perfect quick project to make for a little one.
We'll leave you with that little idea then...
We wish everyone Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and a Joyful New Year!
Paige (writing for Carolyn : ) and everyone at the Stitchin' Post
Every year I tell myself...do not go to the PJ sale. You do not need another piece of fabric. Every year I go. Looking at the photos makes me anxious for next years sale!
Congrats! Carolyn!
