So...when I saw the Coastal Cruiser "free pattern" from Tula Pink all I could think of was "my husband would love one of these" and Valentine's Day was the perfect excuse. The second thing that hit me was... when exactly am I going to squeeze that into my life? But I did it!
Tula did a great job breaking down the steps.
They were very easy to follow. Here the front pieces are sewn together and I have my Cruiser pieces traced onto the fusable and ironed onto the fabric backs.
Every piece is cut out and being placed (perfectly) onto the pillow front
With all the pieces in place, I ironed them onto the pillow front, next step was top stitching everyone in place.
The quilting over the top of the Cruiser gives it such a nice texture. I had a great time with this project. And my husband was thrilled to receive (on Valentine's Day no less!)

Wonderful project, it's so personalized. I loved it!
