It's foggy and chilly outside, and we are all wishing for Spring about now.
Sure, we'd like to see more snow in the mountains, but most of us here at the store are ready to see all of the flower bulbs come up, and the overcast skies to give way to our beautiful, sunny Central Oregon days.
Well, Jackie and Lawry are off this week to the Sewing & Stitchery Expo in Pileup, Washington.
They've got a whole truckload of fun goodies for the booth, including the new Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show Posters & T-Shirts.
We don't have the long sleeved shirts yet, but the color on the regular shirts is really pretty--sort of a pear green. (We will not be getting the fitted shirts this year, so all the short-sleeved shirts will be in the Unisex style.) Long-sleeved tees with be very similar to last years'--white, with Jean's dragonfly at the center back, the quilt show logo down the sleeve (in green), and a section of one of the quilts from the poster in the pocket area of the front.
Here's this year's poster--the images are all from quilts that Jean
(the store's owner and Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show founder) has made over past 35 years:

Here's a preview of a couple more fun things that Lawry and Jackie will have with them in Puyallup:
One of our newest patterns is the "Chatterbox Apron" by Mary Mulari.
This reversible apron has a sweetheart neckline, and umbrella hemline, and pockets on the sides. There is plenty of room for you to add embellishments on this cute, old fashioned classic! It was so irresistible that we had Laura try it out, and here's the result...What do you think?
You can find this pattern with our other aprons on this page: http://stitchinpost.com/patterns-household.html
One of our newest kits is Val's "Simple Strips" pattern, done up in some great bird, stripe, and polka-dot fabrics from Michael Miller. You can find the fabric here: http://stitchinpost.com/fabric-mmbirdswing.html

So, if you're up in the Tacoma area this Thursday through Sunday, February 25 - 28, be sure to stop by our booth in the Pavilion at the Sewing & Stitchery Expo and tell Jackie and Lawry "Hi!"
